Dreams

This time I'm going to talk about dreams. I think dreams are messages from our unconscious and that only a few people have the ability of understand them like predictions of the future. 

I’m very bad to remember my dreams so I usually just forget them. But so ever, the last dream I have was a very good one. I dreamed about my childhood, when I was with my grandma and we were making some cup cakes in my old house. It was a pretty good dream.

I truly believe that all my dreams, especially because I’m young, are possible to achieve. I want to be a very good journalist and hopefully make a little change in the society we live on.

If someday the dream of having lots of money came true I will help the city I came from, Rengo. I like to build more places to get together, the schools and I will build a nice library. 

Cuba: the greatest destination

Today I will like to talk about a beautiful country I'll love to visit: Cuba. It's been my dream for a little wild because I was capture for all their history, specially the type of society it's build there. 

The Cuban culture is very interesting to me, and one of the things I'm totally in love is their music. The sounds and lyrics make me remember a little of my childhood, because my dad was always playing Cuban songs. 

Also I find the Cuban type of politic extremely particular and the way of republican organization unusual. That's why, hopefully, in a future no so far I will love to be their studding political science. I'm trying to win an enter ship and I expected to be chosen to go in the next years.

The first I would like to do there is eat all the typical food I can find their and having trips for all the historical places. My parents have a few friends over their so I’m sure I will be taken care so that’s another positive reason to go.

TV and movies

I love watching TV and movies, it's like the funniest way to spend my free time. I’m into a lot of series at the moment like Dr. House, Grey’s Anatomy and my favorite: How I met your mother. 

I love to be able to relax and laugh with the TV programs and in the strange case someone will made a program about my life I would like it to be something fun, like Friends or that kind of program. 

I don’t like Chilean TV in general, just some random programs because I find it very little entertainment; I’m more into the American programs or just watching movies in the cable. 

About films I love old movies, like Casablanca and stuff. My mom watched very often when I was a little girl so I picked up her taste. I usually watch films at home, on cable. 

Finally, my favorite film of all times is Trainspotting. It’s a film based on a novel of a bunch of young Irish junkies that are very disappointed of their life. Ewan McGregor is on it and he does the principal character. I’ve seen it like a 100 times and I recommend it because is a very sharp movie, that shows the life style of people not so lucky.

First post: a little of me :)

My name is Nicole Cardoch and I’m studing journalist at Universidad de Chile. I was born and race in a little town called Rengo and I’m the oldest of my three brothers. When I was just a girl my friends used to be just boys because I like to play ruff games and I never like playing with girlish toys.

I think the two words that best describe me are being stubborn and playful. I’m very interested in politics, music and history in general, I’m very good at those three areas and I tried to always keep up with the latest news. I like people who are most of all very authentic and sincere, and never like people who hide their feelings or opinions.

And I have some pet peeves like everybody, of course. I hated when messy things in the house are, I’m very organized so I really hated places that look like a mess.  

Someday I would like to be a very famous journalist and doing the thing I like the best: politics interviews. I would love that, because I been working up for that hole my life.
